The story

Some doors don't just open places. They open hearts.

Original feature screenplay · Christmas romance / magical fantasy

When a New York architect returns to her fading hometown, an antique key opens a doorway to Christmas 1955. To save the town her grandfather loved, she must confront the tragedy that drove her away and choose between the life she built and the love she left behind.

In present-day Pine Falls, Christmas traditions are fading. But through a forgotten toy shop, Laurie Timmons discovers a version of her hometown still alive with Christmas wonder in 1955.

Her journey links her grandfather's legacy to the future of the town. Reconnecting with Tim Carver, the carpenter she once left behind, Laurie discovers that saving Pine Falls may mean learning how to come home.

“She designs the future. He knows how to build it.”
